Since c.d. cookies are used for different purposes, this reporting explains what cookies are and how they are used.
Some cookies (c.d. own or first part cookies) are directly conveyed and controlled by the Society. Through these cookies, the Society collects and processes some personal data regarding the user. In this reporting, also following the article 13 of the legislative decree 196 of the 30th of June 2003 (“Privacy Code”), is explained how these data are collected, for which purposes and which are the user’s rights.
Other cookies (c.d. third parties cookies), are instead conveyed and controlled by third parties.
In this reporting there are the links to the information published by the third parties, that must be carefully read.
What are Cookies? What are they for?
Cookies are little text files that the websites visited by the user directly send to his terminal (usually to the browser), where they are memorised in order to be then re-transmitted to the same websites during the next visit of the same user (c.d. own first part cookies). While browsing a website, the user can receive cookies on his terminal also from different websites and web servers (c.d. third parties cookies); this happens because on the visited website there could be some elements, such as images, maps, sounds and specific links to web pages of other domains that reside in different servers from the one of the required page. In other words, these are cookies set by a website other than the one that is currently visited.
Cookies can have a duration limited to a single browsing session on the browser (c.d. session cookies), and in that case automatically deactivate when the user closes the browser; or they can have a predetermined expiration and, in that case, will remain memorised and active in the hard disk until that expiration date, keeping on collecting information through different browsing sessions on the browser (c.d. permanent cookies).
Cookies are used for different purposes. Some are necessary to allow the browsing on the website and to take advantage of its functions (c.d. technical cookies). Other are used to obtain statistics information, in aggregate form or not, about the number of users that log into the website and about how it is used (c.d. monitoring or analytics cookies). Others, lastly, are used to trace a profile of the consumer that so will visualise advertisements, on the website, that can be interesting for him, since consistent with his taste and his consume habits (c.d. profiling cookies).
To know more detailed information about these different cookies categories, keep on reading this reporting. To discover how they work and which are their purposes is essential to freely choose whether to consent their use or not.
Technical cookies are used on the website for the only purpose of making the browsing on the website itself possible and of allowing the use of its functions.
They all are first part cookies, since they are directly conveyed by the website owner.
Some technical cookies are essential to offer an optimal browsing experience or to allow an authentication or to access a reserved area (c.d. browsing cookies). Browsing cookies normally are session cookies and, therefore, once closed the browsing browser, they automatically deactivate.
Other technical cookies are used to allow the memorisation of some preferences (es: the language or the country of origin) without re-setting them during the following visits (c.d. functionality cookies). For this reason, functionality cookies often are persistent cookies, since they stay memorised in the computer also after closing the browsing browser, until their expiration date or until you decide to eliminate them.
This website uses technical cookies and, as foresaw by the privacy current law, to install this kind of cookies a previous consent is not required. Of course, the user is free to block the installation of technical cookies, by modifying his browser settings. Once the installation of the technical cookies has been blocked, or if they are afterwards eliminated, the possibility to access the website, to use all or parts of it, to enable or disable specific functions or to receive specific services may be fully or partially prejudiced.
Monitoring or analytics cookies
Analytics cookies are used on the website to collect statistics information, in aggregate form or not, about the number of users that log onto the website and about how they visit the website itself.
Monitoring cookies are third parties cookies, since they are not directly conveyed by the owner of the website, but by third parties. They are not directly installed by the society, but by third parties.

Due to the specific invasiveness that these devices can have in the private sphere of the users, the italian and european regulations foresee that the user must be adequately informed about their use and so expresses an explicit consent.
On this website profiling cookies are not being used.
Social cookies allow to carry out interactions with the social networks, or with other external platforms, directly from the website pages. The information and interactions acquired by these cookies are, in any case, subjected to the social networks privacy settings of the user. On this website there is no button that links to a social network (Facebook, Youtube, Feed). These buttons allow to interact with one “click” to the social networks. In that case the social networks acquire the data of the user’s visit, while the Society will not share any browsing information nor any user’s data acquired through the website with social networks.
